2. Medicine: As a lubricant for tablets or capsules, but not as widely used as magnesium stearate

3. Food: May be used as an anti caking agent (subject to local regulations)

4. Industrial applications: used as hydrophobic additives or stabilizers in metal processing, plastics, or coatings
